My journey to Canada started a few years ago with a dream to one-day return to the USA, a country I once called my home. Time passed with no magical trip back to the other side of the world, much to my disappointment. Then one day a seed was planted in my head at a friends’ birthday party – why not go on university exchange? (more…)

Hello Everybody !
My start to exchange was somewhat rocky… Due to peak season “Ferraugosto” time, airport closures and me trying to squeeze in as much travelling into 5 weeks of summer as possible. Finally, I have made it to Milan safe and sound ready for the semester ahead that awaits! (more…)

Two weeks ago I arrived at Stockholm University to pick up the keys to my new home for the next 6 months. While making my way to my accommodation from campus, I had no idea how busy and exciting the next week of my life would be… (more…)

After spending a week in San Fransisco – A truly awesome city, I arrived in Charlotte NC. There were students waiting to pick me up even though my flight had been delayed by hours and take me back to a hotel where we would spend the night. When I woke up in the morning I was surprised to find 100+ exchange students from all over the world slowly filling the breakfast room in the hotel. (more…)

In my travels I have been teargassed in the Euro’s final under the Eiffel tower, been only an hour earlier than the horrific incident in Nice. (more…)

After a 32-hour transit from Sydney including a missed connection at Heathrow airport, I was looking forward to a little R&R when I first landed in Zurich 3 days ago. So far, I have yet to have slept for longer than 5 consecutive hours each night – partly due to the monstrous jetlag but also because, since I’ve arrived, I haven’t stopped. The experience so far is nearly overwhelming; luckily it’s also a lot of fun. (more…)

After one month of European travels, the time has finally arrived for my exchange adventure to begin at Copenhagen Business School. Like many of you, this is my first time living out of home, and whilst daunting, I can’t think of a better city than Copenhagen to start this journey. (more…)

Being able to study overseas has been something I’ve wanted to do since I started my degree. I applied for Technische Universität München as I have heard amazing things about the university and their facilities for exchange students. Also, I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study Biomedical Engineering in a country that’s so advanced in this area. (more…)
