Mannheim, Germany – Rebecca Tarbert

It’s been three days since I arrived in Germany. I used to live here when I was younger, so it’s wonderful to return to this breathtaking country. My mother still lives here so I am living with her for the semester. I have not attended my host university yet but I am headed there on Wednesday to enrol in my courses for this semester. I cannot wait to see the University as it is a castle, it must be beautiful 😊 Classes do not commence for another two weeks, so I plan to use my time to familiarise myself with the surroundings and go exploring.

The above photo is the view from my bedroom, living back in the house I grew up in brings back so many wonderful memories. I cannot wait to get a taste of the student life in this country.
