Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan

This January, I spent an unforgettable three weeks at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy, participating in a global short program called “Personal Branding: Impact, Influence and Effectiveness in the Workplace” from January 6th to 26th. It was a journey that broadened my view of the world and sharpened my professional skills.

The program taught us how to stand out professionally, be influential, and work effectively. Each class pushed us to think deeply about our careers and the kind of impact we want to have. I met students and professionals worldwide, which made learning even more exciting and gave me great new friends and contacts.
Living in Italy was a lesson in itself. I got to dive into Italian culture, experiencing everything from historical sites and modern places to delicious food and art. This gave me a fresh perspective on how culture influences business and professional behaviour across different countries.

The course was practical and filled with real-life cases, group projects, and activities that mirrored the daily challenges professionals face. One of the main projects was to develop a personal branding plan for myself, considering my career goals and desired impact. This task helped me define my professional identity and get valuable feedback from diverse perspectives.

Looking back at my time at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, I am really grateful. I learned crucial lessons in personal branding and effectiveness that I’ll use throughout my career. The friendships and connections I made are just as valuable, enriching my understanding of different cultures and expanding my professional network.

This experience was much more than just a study program; it was a deep dive into discovering myself and growing personally and professionally. The skills and insights I gained will guide me as I move forward, aiming to make a meaningful difference in whatever I do.
