CIAO FROM MILANO
It’s official, I’m no longer living in Australia. This took a while to sink in, but now that I’ve moved into my dorm room and attended the first 2 days of orientation, I think my brain is starting to accept this strange and wonderful new life. I think moving to another country for 4 months is just one of those things that sounds completely ridiculous at first. If you’d told me a year ago that I’d be doing this, I would’ve probably responded with an embarrasing snort/laugh of some sort.

But here I am. I flew out of Sydney on Saturday the 14th of September, and arrived in Milan the same night. It was a long flight, but seeing the Milan Cathedral when I came out of the train station made it all worth it. I moved into the dorm on the Monday, and they are surprisingly spacious! I have my own bathroom, balcony and more storage space than I know what to do with. I’m set.

Orientation has taken up the past two days. Here’s a photo of the main square of our lovely campus.

I’ll definitely post more when I get a chance.
