Aalto Uni, Finland!

Helsinki is meant to be wet and cold, and although every day locals tell me not to get used to it, we have had a week of the clearest blue skies and warm days.

Its a bustling city alive with lots of art and design events, a perfect location to be studying spatial design. So far orientation has involved a party on a boat going into the early hours, a collaborative graffiti wall and meeting people not just from Finland but from every European country imaginable – Estonia, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Russia among others and from further afield – Japan, Mexico and Lebanon (and a few other Australians here and there!). It’s an exciting and varied group to be friends with and to study design with!
